   Today I was able to sit by and offer no help or correction while E took his annual reading and writing tests. That was actually pretty hard for me because I know if I had been able to ask him even a simple “Why did you chose that answer?” he would have thought it through and corrected many of his mistakes. But the assessment was supposed to be with no assistance from me and so I forcably, almost painfully, held myself silent!

   I love Tuesday Toot as well! I had one about me getting the nerve/guts to use my school kiln! It took me a little over 2 years to finally use it. I have been scared of it.

   I am new to this, and not sure what to comment here. This is my first Tuesday Toot, so here it is:

   “I was a young mom who found herself in an abusive relationship/marriage which lasted for ten years. After ten years, I finally left with my three kids. During that time in the marriage, I did go back to school and received a two-year associate degree in law.

   Today, fifteen years later after receiving my associates degree, I am once again back in school majoring in Psychology and earning a B.A. My goal is to get my Masters degree and become a licensed counselor. I am really excited about this.

   I’ve been through a lot in my life, and I always seem to come through. No one’s perfect, nothing is easy, but life is truly what you make it.”

   I think I will enjoy this Tuesday Toot. Looking forward to more
