Women and Housework
I bumped into this clip this afternoon while surfing the web and I thought I’d post it here for some discussion. I must agree that since I got married, I have done way more housework. Watching the video made me sad a little bit - especially hearing that women kind of turn into slaves.
*sigh* That’s not what I wanted to be when I grew up!

I have to tell you that my husband, the children and I all share the housework. I can honestly say that I believe my husband does more housework then the average man. lol.

I must just be one blessed gal. My hubby does equal load.
OK Maybe I am spoiled a little DH does More around the house then I do it seems even when he is working he is always trying to help clean up.
I think a lot has to do with how the man was raised on how he does or does not help with the housework. I think if they are taught how to help out and what to do they are more likely to be that way when they get older.

Wow - you guys are lucky. I must admit though that even if I feel like I am doing more housework than I did when I was single … my hubby does his share like doing maintenance work at home and he is the breadwinner of the family. The extra work I guess that I do is taking care of my little ones and even if I get tired doing housework - I wouldn’t trade my life now with anyone else’.
LOL - I love his last comment “And this coffee’s not going to pour itself!” That was perfect!
