Summer Fun Family Vacations

It’s Summer time - and it’s time to plan for the annual Summer Vacation. There are lots of places to visit where you can have fun but you want to be careful and make sure that you chose one that is family friendly. Here are some ideas for you.

The most popular destination for a family vacation is Disney World. There are tons of packages that are not only all-inclusive, but if you book them in advance, you can get the best deal or discount available during the summer months. You can not deny it, it’s a dream come true especially for kids to meet and see their most favorite Disney characters.

Another option for a family vacation would be to go camping. What better time to go camping then the summer time? Choose a destination where nature serves as a backdrop for an awesome weekend of fun and adventure. Camp by the lake - and you can go swimming or fishing. You could also plan to go hiking - make sure to bring lots of bottled water to stay hydrated. Don’t forget the campfire at night - toast marshmallows, make smores and tell ghost stories too. Sleeping in tents would be an exciting experience especially for first time campers. Camping is a low cost option for a vacation especially if you have already invested on good camping equipment which you can use over and over again.

How about a week in a different state? If you have relatives in other states - perhaps summer is a good time to visit. Plan on either a road trip or a plane ride with the family. Whether you have relatives in other states or not, visiting places like Hawaii, California, or even New York would be great fun.

If you can afford it, why not go overseas? How about planning a vacation to Europe or Asia. Learn more about other countries. This also gives your kids the opportunity to become acquainted with different cultures. Vacations like these will be filled with memorable moments.
