Hey you! Welcome back!

I was going through old videos this morning – trying to transfer them into a DVD format and I came across a family video taken 14 years ago when my son was 2 years old. In this video he was trying so very hard to put his own shirt on – his favorite “Barney” shirt – it was very popular when he was a baby. Anyway, he had the hardest time putting it on and he was very frustrated thus, throwing a tantrum at the end. It was quite funny watching the video after 14 years – you see my son just turned 16 on Aug. 3, 2008 – not too long ago. I will have to show this video to him and see how he will react. After viewing the video, I realized how much he has grown into a young man – wow, 14 years went by so quickly. He no longer throws tantrums. It seems like I just blinked and now my little boy is no longer little. He is actually taller than I am. I can have a decent conversation with him and enjoy sharing lots of things with him. I suddenly missed the little baby boy hugs, I missed reading him books, I missed singing him songs … I am getting teary eyed now as I type this post and so I’ll stop it here. Watch the video and let me know if you remember your little ones throwing their own little tantrums … remember, they grow up so fast and so cherish them and hug those little ones. Feel free to share baby tantrum stories with me.
